Attendees love this program, especially getting practical and objective advice that will help them get closer to buying a first home. Over the years, people have called and asked if they could “still come” to the Info Session even if they weren’t technically a first-time buyer. We always say “Yes!” because Canton Co-operative actually is all about helping local people buy homes.
Right now, there are a lot of homeowners who haven’t gotten a mortgage in decades. They’re getting ready to sell their long-time home and then purchase a new one. Some use the proceeds from the sale to buy their next home. Others have various reasons for preferring to take out a mortgage.
