4th Annual “Pie Day” Thanksgiving 2020 Pie Drive

Canton Co-operative Bank collecting cash & check donations for pies for the Canton Food Pantry

Canton, Mass. – Because of various COVID limits and schedule changes, this year Canton Co-operative Bank is collecting cash & check donations so the Canton Food Pantry can directly purchase pies to include in the shopping bags filled with holiday food and treats they make up for local individuals and families.

“Usually customers & friends of the Bank bring in dozens and dozens of pies for Pie Day,” Canton Co-operative Bank President & CEO Nick Maffeo said. “Collecting pies is not possible right now. But we can collect donations and any amount you give will be most sincerely appreciated.”

Pie Day donations (cash & checks payable to Canton Area Helpline with “Food” in the memo) can be made through November 25th during business hours in the Canton Co-operative Bank lobby at 671 Washington Street or at the drive-through. Donations can also be made directly to the Canton Food Pantry. For more information, contact Canton Co-operative Bank Branch Manager April McKee, 781-828-8811 x17.

Canton Co-operative Bank has been Canton’s hometown bank since 1891 and is rated “5-Star for Strength & Stability” as “one of the strongest banks in the country,” according to bank-rating service BauerFinancial of Coral Gables, Florida. All deposits are insured by the FDIC and the DIF. The phone number is 781-828-8811.
