Customer Service Rep Jean Logan retiring from Canton Co-operative Bank

Canton, Mass. – Customer Service Rep Jean Logan is retiring from Canton Co-operative on December 31st after an 18-year career with the Bank.

“I started at Canton Co-operative Bank as a Teller in 1998 after closing my beauty salon, Jeanne’s of Beverly Hills,” Jean Logan said. “And I found a new home here. Everyone is so pleasant at Canton Co-operative – the other people on staff and all the customers. I’m a ‘people person’ and it’s the people and the relationships I am going to miss so much. Being ‘the hometown bank’ with such a friendly atmosphere, Canton Co-operative is a very special place. I have really loved working here.”

“Jean Logan has been with the Bank a long time,” Canton Co-operative President & CEO Nick Maffeo said. “Nearly 20 years. She has always been 100% kind and caring. Customers like talking to her and they like working with her. I think that’s important for a local bank. And Jean has been responsible for our seasonal lobby decorations. She’s always taken a real pride in helping the Bank look great. Customers do make mention of that, all the time. ‘It’s so nice in here,’ they say. That’s all thanks to Jean.”

A Canton native, Jean Logan is a graduate of the Henry O’Peabody School of Hair Design. In retirement, she plans to “travel a bit,” do more with arts & crafts and spend time with her husband, Mike, and son, Blake.

Celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2016, Canton Co-operative Bank has been Canton’s neighborhood bank since 1891 and is rated “5-Star for Strength & Stability” as “one of the strongest banks in the country,” according to bank-rating service BauerFinancial of Coral Gables, Florida. All deposits are insured by the FDIC and the Share Insurance Fund (SIF). The phone number is 781-828-8811.
