AB Acquisition LLC and Supervalu
On Thursday August 14th, AB Acquisition LLC and Supervalu, which operates Shaws, Star Markets and a number of other grocery store chains, confirmed an intrusion to its payment data system potentially impacting customers that used cards at their stores from June 22, 2014 to July 17, 2014.
At this point, Canton Co-operative Bank is awaiting word from Visa Fraud Control & Investigations to find out if any of our customers’ debit card account numbers may have been compromised. If necessary, Canton Co-operative Bank will notify customers if their account has been impacted by this breach and if their debit card will need to be reissued or if any other action needs to take place with regards to their account.
